I never understood how graphic "artists" think they are artists. In this day and age computer applictions like Adobe Photoshop or InDesign produce all of the "art". Buy enough expensive software and hardware, learn a few tricks of the application; you too can be a graphic "artist".

i find this mildly offensive... there are a lot of hacks out there, but also many digital things that are elegant. to group everyone together like that is shortsighted.

plus, do some research and you'll find that this is a huge debate / topic among designers. where is the art / design line drawn?
